Olson Legacy Foundation partners with food banks to fight summer hunger

By ISIS AIDE REYESThe Georgetown-based Anna+Anton Olson Legacy Foundation has launched a new April initiative that targets food insecurity across Williamson County. The “Feeding Your Neighbors Challenge” strives to meet the demand students and their families face during the summertime.

Volunteers help distribute food at Shepherd’s Heart Food Pantry

Volunteers from Taylor’s First United Methodist Church helping distribute food at Shepherd’s Heart Food Pantry in downtown Taylor on Saturday morning, November 1, 2025.  Although this is one of the pantry’s scheduled distributions, the number of people receiving food items has increased this week.
