‘No Kings’ protests draws supporters, opposition, costumes

Multiple offender gets 80 years for DWI

Thomas Glen Holman of Taylor was found guilty of driving while intoxicated for a third or greater offence as a habitual offender. He was sentenced to 80 years by a Williamson County jury on October 7.

Taylor stabbings lead to Jarrell arrest

The Taylor Police Department is investigating a homicide that occurred on the evening of October 7, just before 11:26 p.m.

Fire engulfs another historic Taylor building

A fire destroyed the Old Dickey-Givens Community Center building located at 903 East Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard early Sunday morning, June 29.The Taylor Fire Department responded to the scene at approximately 8:45 a.m., according to a news release from the city.

Wrangle rodeo season with the WCSPR in Jarrell

The Williamson County Sheriff Posse Rodeo will host its annual event June 27-28 at the WCSP Arena, located at 1600 County Road 305 in Jarrell.

Through the archives
