2024 Texas Bach Festival moving to First United Methodist Church

The Texas Bach Festival — on its way to becoming a Georgetown musical institution — will settle into a new home in its 2024 season, First United Methodist Church. This year is also FUMC’s 175th anniversary in Georgetown.

Texas Bach Festival sets 2024 concert series

The Texas Bach Festival returns to Georgetown in 2024 with a program entitled Bach Across Time. Concerts will be held March 21, May 19 and June 26-July 7. Artistic Director Barry Scott Williamson said Texas Bach Festival’s featured masterwork concert will be a performance of J.S.

2023 Texas Bach Festival concert series announced

The Texas Bach Festival returns to Georgetown with a program titled “TBF 2023: Resound, You Songs!” A free opening concert is scheduled for 2 p.m., May 21, at the Georgetown Public Library. Gil Zilkha, bass-baritone, and Rick Rowley, piano, will perform Franz Schubert’s “Winterreise, D911.

Texas Bach Festival to offer Danube River Cruise in 2023

The Texas Bach Festival will offer a luxury Danube River Cruise vacation, April 22-29, 2023, in the land of Beethoven, Haydn and Mozart. The cruise will include Budapest, Bratislava, Vienna and Salzburg/Linz, with an optional extension to Prague.
