Held at the Williamson County Expo Center, the Williamson County Fair opened on Wednesday, October 22. The fair and rodeo continues through Saturday evening.

Revived county fair and rodeo celebrates fifth year

From Ferris wheels to farming, lumberjacks to lassos, and barrel racing to barbecue, the Wilco Fair and Rodeo offers a little of everything.

Williamson County Fair and Rodeo begins

The 2024 Williamson County Fair and Rodeo is rounding up residents from Wednesday, October 23, to Saturday, October 26, at the Williamson County Expo Center located on 5350 Bill Pickett Trail in Taylor. This is the organization’s fourth fair and rodeo.

The Williamson County Commissioner’s Court recognized multiple people at the beginning of the November 7 meeting at the county courthouse.    40 years of service  Salvador Lopez was recognized for his 40 years of service in Juvenile Services at the beginning of the commissioners court meeting.

Williamson County Fair and Rodeo awards scholarships to Wilco seniors

The Williamson County Fair and Rodeo awarded $4,500 in scholarships to three local seniors at the June 27 commissioner's court meeting.  Scholarship recipients were Ty Chase, Madeline Edwards and Paige Phalen.
