Amplify Wilco day set for next week

For the third year in a row, I Live Here I Give Here will be hosting Amplify Wilco Day, a 24-hour giving period on March 4 and 5 that will benefit over 90 nonprofits that serve Williamson County. The event coincides with Amplify Austin, which has raised $122.

Williamson County local leads volunteers at Winter Olympics

While many Williamson County residents were watching the 2026 Milan Cortina Winter Olympics from their living rooms, Leander resident and Uzbekistan immigrant Anna Yelaun was busy being the lead volunteer for speed skating teams in Milan.

Williamson County justice personnel earn state certifications

Williamson County housing market indicates buyer momentum

The Central Texas real estate market is showing signs of steady prices, ample inventory and renewed buyer momentum, according to a new report from the Austin Board of Realtors.

Off the market: Historic Jail changes hands

Something new is coming to one of Georgetown’s historic downtown sites. The Williamson County commissioners on February 10 sold the Main Street property that houses the county’s 137-year old Historic Jail during the February 10 meeting.

Flood funding: Williamson County to add new flood warning systems

The Williamson County Commissioners Court entered into an agreement with the Texas Water Development Board for flood warning systems, with the opportunity to apply for a $1 million grant.

The County Road 110 North project broke ground Thursday, February 5, as part of an initiative to extend the road to Rockride Lane to connect with Patriot Way and Sam Houston Avenue.

Voters should expect precinct-level polling places on election day

Residents who plan on voting during March’s primary election will face different rules depending on if they plan to vote early or on election day. Williamson County’s Republican Party has decided to require precinct-level voting on Election Day, March 3.
