County road projects progress in Taylor

Over the next few months, Taylor will be the site of some major road work, which Precinct 4 Commissioner Russ Boles said he hopes will alleviate resident concerns. “There’s been an increase in traffic between Hutto and Taylor on a variety of roads — state, city and county,” he said.

Williamson County extends ice storm Disaster Declaration

Williamson County again extended its local disaster declaration made following the ice storm on January 31 as restoration and recovery efforts continue.  The initial declaration was extended until March 9. It was lengthened Tuesday by an additional 90 days to June 5.
