Community Thanksgiving

Peggy Ogden-Howe is assisted with her meal preparation during the Community Thanksgiving, held Thursday, November 28, 2024 at the San Gabriel Community Center in San Gabriel Park.  200 pounds of turkey breast, combined with numerous side dishes, drinks and desserts were provided at no charge to anyone who wanted a Thanksgiving meal. Georgetown serves up community on Thanksgiving

Georgetown's Community Thanksgiving was held Thursday, November 28, 2024, at the San Gabriel Community Center in San Gabriel Park.  About 200 pounds of turkey breast, combined with numerous side dishes, drinks and desserts were provided at no charge to anyone who wanted a Thanksgiving meal.

Georgetown's Community Thanksgiving returned on Thursday, November 24, at the Georgetown Community Center in San Gabriel Park. Free meals were offered on a first-come first-served basis. For homebound residents, volunteers fanned out throughout the city delivering meals.
