Georgetown Police Department sees more calls for service

Despite the total calls for service from the Georgetown Police Department going up 4.25 percent in 2025, the total number of Group A offenses — which include murder, rape, assault, robbery, theft, fraud and drug charges – were down 7.

Georgetown man gets 300 years for child pornography

A Williamson County jury found Daniel Bracamontez, 54, of Georgetown, guilty of five counts of possession of child pornography on September 9. The jury sentenced him to 60 years in prison on each count, totaling 300 years of incarceration.
