Holocaust exhibit offers children glimpse at history

Congregation Havurah Shalom, in partnership with the Georgetown Public Library will be hosting its Holocaust exhibit “A Reason to Remember” from April 13 to May 21. Deborah Roth-Howe will talk about the families featured in the exhibit on April 12, from 2-4 p.m.

Georgetown religious group Congregation Havurah Shalom and the Georgetown Public Library hosted a Holocaust remembrance event April 23. The event featured Jack Fingerhut, a Sun City resident with personal ties to the Holocaust. Mr.
Key components to the Passover Seder meal include a wine, matzoh and a seder plate, which includes foods symbolizing elements involved in the liberation of the Israelites from Egypt as told in the Book of Exodus. This year, the eight day Passover festival begins on Wednesday, April 5.

Remembrance event to feature Holocaust survivor’s son
