Williamson County establishes Emergency Operations Center ahead of winter storm

The Williamson County Office of Emergency Management will open an Emergency Operations Center tonight in response to the Cold Weather Advisory and Winter Storm Warning issued by the National Weather Service.

First responders for 50 years: EMS celebrated for life-saving service

County Briefs: Williamson County, South Korean city now united

Williamson County officials entered a Sister City Agreement with Yong-in City, South Korea, during the July 2 commissioners court meeting.

County Briefs: County offices observe Juneteenth

Williamson County offices will be closed on Wednesday, June 19, in honor of Juneteenth. All county operations will resume regular hours on Thursday, June 20.  While county offices are closed, residents may use online services that are offered in various departments.

New EMS station opens in Liberty Hill

Williamson County Emergency Medical Services celebrated the opening of a new medic station for Liberty Hill Fire Station 2, on Thursday, April 11.

Williamson County Commissioners Court reviews salary study, adds policies

Williamson County Commissioners Court approved new county salaries for elected officials and new county employee policies during their July 18 meeting. Changes will be put into effect October 1, the start of the next fiscal year.
