Counting sheep in Granger

In 2010, about a year after returning to Texas, I was doing one of those occasional drives in the countryside south of Granger when I noticed a man, joined by a Great Pyrenees as they herded sheep along a barely-traveled road.

In 2021, Congress passed legislation naming September 11 as Patriot Day and National Day of Service and Remembrance. Sun City is hosting a 9/11 Patriot Day remembrance organized by the Veterans Memorial Advisory Group.Retired Army Staff Sgt. Shilo Harris is the featured speaker.
