“I was driving a tractor when I was 7-years-old,” farmer Larry Svehlak mentioned while I rode along in his combine this week.
Mr. Svehlak, 70, is a Granger native who’s lived in Taylor for decades. He’s tilled the soil for a long time, but he’s retiring after finishing this year’s corn harvest.

This first salad uses a rotisserie chicken and microwavable rice to make it even quicker and easier, but you can cook your own chicken and rice if you prefer it.

Play Time: Crazy about 'Crazy for You' at the Palace Theatre

The romantic comedy musical Crazy for You opened at the Palace Theatre June 30. The play, written by Ken Ludwig, won the 1992 Tony Award, the 1993 Olivier Award and the 1994 Dora Award for Best Musical.
