Granger celebrated with the community's annual Lakefest this past weekend, May 11-13. The rain expected on the first two days of the festival didn't materialize, but the town was soaked by early Saturday morning. The parade, musical acts and car show were cancelled, but the festival's midway carnival rides and barbecue cook-off continued. A few vendors found cover from the elements.
