The Texas Comptroller released updated sales tax data for February 2024.
When looking at the data, Liberty Hill brought in 58.60 percent less in sales tax revenues when compared to February 2023. On the other side of the county, Taylor brought in 56.51 percent more in sales tax revenues.

Early 2024 Williamson County housing market sees gains compared to 2023

The Austin Board of Realtors released its first housing market analysis of 2024, representing market activity for the month of January.
According to the data, residential homes sold in Williamson County increased by 4.3 percent, with 1,667 closed sales. Pending sales rose 3.

Fentanyl dealers arrested, charged

The Williamson County Sheriff’s Office provided updates about two fentanyl cases.
On February 9, Marek Dillard was arrested by U.S. Marshals and DPS officers on a Williamson County Sheriff's Office warrant for murder.

Veterans Services expands financial assistance, receives accreditation
