Pumpkin Patch Returns

2,500 pumpkins arrived from New Mexico at Georgetown's First United Methodist Church on Wednesday, October 11, 2023, with a second batch coming on October 22. The church's pumpkin sale continues through October 31. Contact the Sun at 512-930-4824 or ads@wilcosun.

Clayman Rodeo celebrates 30 years

Teach A Kid To Fish

Taylor's KidFish event was held Saturday, September 16, 2023 at Bull Branch Park. Children did the actual fishing, but were assisted as needed by family members.

Holy Trinity Catholic Church of Corn Hill annual bazaar

Holy Trinity Catholic Church of Corn Hill hosted their annual bazaar on Sunday, September 17, 2023.  The bazaar included inside dining, to-go plates, plus a silent auction, a raffle, cake walk and bingo.  There were also children's games and live Polka music.

Clayman Rodeo gallops into Georgetown

The 30th annual Clayman Rodeo will ride into Georgetown at the Windsong Farm Arena at 5 p.m. Saturday, October 7. Each year contestants have to get donations for the rodeo in order to compete. All of the money collected is used for prizes and contestants.

Williamson County prepares to celebrate National Night Out

Cities across the county are preparing for National Night Out on Tuesday, October 3. This year nearly 500 communities in Texas are expected to participate.
