Georgetown city pools opening on Memorial Day

Georgetown public pools will open for the summer season on Memorial Day weekend.
The Recreation Center outdoor, Williams Drive, River Ridge and Village pools open Saturday, May 27. However, the Recreation Pool will close May 28-29, while the River Ridge Pool will close Monday, May 29.

Georgetown residents can vote in the city’s mayoral election, with incumbent Mayor Josh Schroeder facing challenger Jonathan Dade.

The Georgetown Sertoma Club's 20th Red Poppy Ride on Saturday, April 22, 2023 began in the parking lot behind Richarte High School. Participants cycled through various areas of Williamson County. Distances for rides were 14, 28, 40, 60 and 100 miles.
