Summer Sunflower Festival held at Sweet Eats

Sweet Eats Adventure Farm & Petting Zoo is hosting its fourth annual Sunflower Festival through July 9 on its property between Jonah and Circleville. The festival highlights 45 different types of sunflowers, ranging in color and height.

The Williamson County Sheriff’s Posse is hosting their annual rodeo Friday, June 23 and Saturday, June 24, at the group’s arena in Jarrell, 1600 County Road 305.  Each day, gates open at 6 p.m. and rodeo events begin at 8 p.m.

Last chance to see Juneteenth display at the library

For the second year in a row, the Georgetown Public Library has put up a display showcasing the history of Juneteenth and Black culture in Georgetown.  “[The display] highlights a part of the history of Georgetown that people don’t know about,” Librarian Anne Evans said.
