Beautify Georgetown with a riverbank cleanup

A riverbank cleanup at Rivery Park will take place Tuesday, March 24, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. During the event — which is organized by the City of Georgetown — trash bags, gloves, light snacks and drinks will be provided. Participants should wear long pants, hats, sunglasses and closed-toe shoes.

Art Scapes: Mainly Art season begins in Round Rock’s Prete Plaza

The 2026 Spring season of Mainly Art begins on March 28 in downtown Round Rock from 10 a.m., until 3 p.m. This monthly event continues as a vibrant, free, outdoor art market held along historic Main Street from March to June in Prete Plaza and the downtown Paseo.

Animeros is an Austin band known for blending Latin-influenced sounds with cumbia, bolero, salsa and elements of West Texas and Mexican musical traditions into vibrant, danceable music.The band’s energetic sounds open the 2026 Music on Main season starting March 19 at 7 p.m.

Stationed in front of the Williamson County Sun’s office were A Gift of Time’s Carolina Umana, Executive Director Becky Folta-May and Mary Odom. The nonprofit gave out candy and had small activities for guests who stopped by to learn about their mission: serving those with mild to moderate dementia and their family members by providing respite opportunities, support and resources in Georgetown. Nonprofits hit Square for Amplify Wilco launch

Amplify Wilco — the annual day of giving organized by Central Texas nonprofit I Live Here I Give Here — launched Wednesday evening, with nonprofits lining up along the Square in downtown Georgetown. On March 4 at 6 p.m. until 6 p.m. on March 5, donors could contribute $5 or more at www.amplifyatx.
