As part of Georgetown’s ongoing discussions about the Downtown Master Plan, Georgetown City Council heard updates about a plan to create a Rock Street promenade that would include a large public walkway.

Groundwater Agreement discussion continues at Georgetown City Council

Earlier this year, Georgetown City Council worked to reserve future groundwater supply from the Carrizo-Wilcox aquifer through an agreement with international company EPCOR, and the city heard an update about the agreement during a December 12 workshop.

Williamson appoints new elections administrator

The Williamson County Elections Commission named Bridgette Escobedo as the county’s new elections administrator during a December 14 meeting at the Williamson County Courthouse.
“I am honored and thrilled to join Williamson County as your new elections administrator,” she said in a statement.

Georgetown, Wilco enter into two interlocal agreements

Two interlocal agreements between Georgetown and Williamson County were approved by the City Council during the December 12 meeting.
The first agreement is related to design and construction for water line improvements along Ronald Reagan Boulevard. The city will take on 40.

Two Step Inn now accepting vendors for 2024 festival

Food and Market vendor applications for the 2024 Two Step Inn festival are open through January 19.
There are separate applications for food and market vendors. According to the applications, filling out the form does not guarantee acceptance to be a food or market vendor for the festival.
