The Georgetown Fire and Police departments on Friday continued their tradition of honoring the victims and heroes of the attacks on September 11, 2001, by climbing the bleachers at Georgetown High School football stadium early in the morning.

Georgetown ISD seeks name nominations for new high school

Georgetown ISD is seeking nominations to name its fourth high school, a project that was approved by voters in the May 2024 bond election. The new campus, on the district’s west side at DB Wood and Cedar Breaks roads, is under construction and scheduled to open in fall 2028.
