City of Georgetown issues $38 million for fire station, services

Georgetown City Council approved a notice of intent to issue Certificates of Obligation totaling $38,285,000 for 2026. Certificates of Obligation, according to the Texas Comptroller’s office, provide local governments with flexibility in financing projects without voter approval.
