Williamson County sees 8.47% increase in market value

Williamson County’s total market value increased by about 8.47 percent in 2025, according to the June 3 presentation from the Appraisal District. The county’s total market value at $184.69 billion for 2025, up from $170.27 billion in 2024, according to the preliminary data.

Georgetown appraised values continue to rise

Georgetown’s total property market value increased from $22.9 billion in 2024 to $24.75 billion in 2025, according to a valuation update from the Williamson County Appraisal District presented during the May 27 city council workshop.

The Knitting Cup helps spin dreams for 10 years

The Knitting Cup has provided knitting supplies and a sense of community from its location on East University Avenue. for the past 10 years.Owner Shawnee Kunz said she always wanted to own a yarn store. She has been knitting since she was seven years old.
