Texas Baptist Children’s Home celebrates 75 years serving families in crisis

The Texas Baptist Children’s Home will mark its 75th anniversary with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on its Round Rock campus September 4 at 4 p.m., similar to the one held in 1950. A community festival is scheduled for October 25 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Georgetown police officer admits to sexual intercourse with 911 caller in affidavit

In an affidavit obtained by the Sun, Georgetown Police Officer Dylan Wright, 26, used information not known to the public and used his position of officer to receive oral sex and have sexual intercourse with a caller who reached out to 911 about a domestic violence assault.
