Wilco Homeless Coalition to conduct point-in-time count

Attempting to identify the number of people experiencing homelessness in Williamson County, the Wilco Homeless Coalition will conduct its second point-in-time count this winter. The volunteer-led count is scheduled to take place in late-January.

The latest demographic report for Jarrell ISD shows the district is continuing to experience fast growth, with enrollment expected to double in five years to nearly 7,500 students. Its projected enrollment for 2032 is 11,658 students.

Five candidates up for two Jarrell ISD board seats

Five candidates are vying for two places on the Jarrell ISD Board of Trustees in the November 11 election. Places 5 and 7 are on the ballot. Candidates for Place 5 are incumbent Tamara Dozier and Humberto Carbajal. In Place 7, candidates are incumbent Rebecca Kirby, Ginger Martinez and Sherry K.

Jarrell High School to present ‘Frankenstein’
