First phase of DB Wood Road improvements opens with ribbon cutting

    Georgetown officials joined representatives from Kimley-Horn Engineers and Jordan Foster Construction on the newly refurbished portion of DB Wood Road Wednesday, July 22, for a ribbon cutting. 

    Construction — from State Highway 29 to Oak Ridge Road — was part of a 2015 road bond project, and included a new road section for the west side of DB Wood, an updated bridge over the Middle Fork of the…
