National real estate developer Jackson-Shaw announced a new tenant for the CrossPoint Business District located between I-35 and State Highway 195 south of County Road 143 in Georgetown.
Baer Manufacturing will use a 606,000-square-foot space to make prefabricated electrical products with a focus on underground duct banks that support data center infrastructure, according to the company.
Construction on the facility will begin in March 2026.
“This project demonstrates the rising demand for large-format, mission-critical industrial space connected to data center growth and advanced manufacturing,” said Miles Terry, Jackson-Shaw Vice President of Development, in a press release. “The project has garnered strong support from both city and county partners, who are offering incentives and have expressed enthusiasm for the deal's economic impact and job creation.”
Baer Manufacturing serves as a division of Hunt Electric, a national build, design and maintenance firm. Its capabilities include making modular e-houses/skids, underground and overhead assemblies, temporary power solutions, welding/fabrication services and branch components.
