Nonprofits line the Square for Amplify Wilco, Wednesday

More than a dozen Williamson County nonprofits are partnering with Georgetown businesses to kick off Amplify Wilco Day on the Square, Wednesday, March 5, from 5-8 p.m.

Hosted by I Live Here I Give Here, the Amplify Wilco fundraising campaign encourages residents across Williamson County to make donations to support nonprofit organizations during this 24-hour period, beginning Wednesday at 5 p.m.

In 2024, its inaugural year, Amplify Wilco Day raised $1 million.

“Last year, Williamson County had 72 nonprofits participate. This year we have 90,” said Piper Stege Nelson, executive director of I Live Here I Give Here. “I think that that shows where your community is and how incredible the giving is in Williamson County, and it also shows the need.”

Donors can search for nonprofit organizations on the online platform AmplifyWilco.org by keyword, location and category across Williamson County.
