Southwestern University, City of Georgetown will break ground on 560 development soon

Southwestern University’s long-anticipated development project on the 560 acres east of campus will officially begin October 23 with a groundbreaking ceremony. 

The first aspect of the project is a 2023 bond-approved building that will serve as the City of Georgetown’s new Customer Service Center. Site mobilization and initial construction work began in early October when crews started grading…
