Sanctuary Holistic Kitchen helps builds healthy habits

Georgetown’s Sanctuary Holistic Kitchen offers allergan free ready-made meals, healthy cooking classes and apothecary skincare items and supplements. “We are an herbal apothecary with a top allergen-free kitchen and an education space for healthy living,” Owner Robin Cervantes explained.

Red Horn Brewery & Roastery unites again to create ‘Undercover Cowboy’

Red Horn Brewery’s Hazy IPA ‘Undercover Cowboy’ became available this spring on draft and in cans at their two restaurant locations, with plans to expand to other retailers soon.“[The logo] is the silhouette of a cowboy wearing sneakers,” co-owner Chad Misner said.

Interior design boutique and café calls South Main Street home

“Do all things with love, with amor.” That’s the business model for Jasmin Sky Peña, who opened interior design store Decor with Amor and Pan Tostado Café with her husband, Mario Esquivel. “You have to do all things with love because that will reflect on your work,” she said.

Burgers, boozy milkshakes, all-day breakfast and a jukebox that plays old tunes are now on the Square.Gold Burger Diner could open as early as next week on Seventh Street in the building that housed Gold’s Department store from 1936 to 1996.

Georgetown tax rate to stay the same in FY 2025

Average Georgetown homeowners should see a decrease in the city portion of their property tax bills next year. The City of Georgetown is building its budget for the next fiscal year based on this year’s current city tax rate.
