Leander announces new city manager

Todd Parton will serve as Leander's new city manager. His first day on the job will be April 16. Leander City Council announced the hiring during their regular meeting on March 7.

Williamson County continues AAA bond rating

Williamson County has announced it once again has received a AAA bond rating, the highest rating possible score, with both rating agencies Fitch Ratings and Standard & Poor Global.   Securing a bond rating is the first step before issuing debt, according to a news release from the county.

It’s only been a few short months since last October’s partial annular solar eclipse, but Williamson County residents who missed it can experience a more impressive total solar eclipse on April 8.

Berry Springs Park face lift underway

Williamson County broke ground Friday on several projects to reshape offerings at Berry Springs Park and Preserve, 1801 County Road 152, Georgetown.
