Commissioners discuss Fiscal Year 2024 pay for county employees

Williamson County Senior Director of Human Resources Rebecca Clemons gave multiple presentations July 25 to commissioner’s court about updates to the county employee policy manual, compensation and other items involving county employees. If approved, policies will go into effect on October 1.

Unemployment rates remain unchanged in Wilco, Central Texas

The Texas Workforce Commission released updated unemployment numbers for Central Texas counties for June 2023.
In June, unemployment in Williamson County stayed at 3.5 percent.
An estimated 5,408 jobs were added to the Rural Capital Area.
