Two longtime St. David’s leaders set to retire

Sheriff's general fund to cover Williamson County SWAT, K-9 units

Williamson County Commissioners voted Tuesday to include the SWAT special team’s operation costs, as well as the K-9 special team’s costs, to the Sheriff’s Office General Fund for the fiscal year 2023-2024 budget.

Wilco approves animal shelter feasibility study

Williamson County approved a feasibility study which will look at options for merging the city of Georgetown’s animal shelter services with the Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter.

Georgetown ISD names Jack Frost Citizens

Georgetown ISD trustees recognized high school seniors as Jack Frost Citizens of the Month on March 21. The award is given monthly to outstanding students who demonstrate service, leadership and scholarship.

Eagle scout continues family tradition

Dustin Zippe Ford was promoted to an Eagle Scout with Troop 405 over the winter. He represents the Troop’s 202nd Eagle Scout. His two older brothers, Garrett and Kyle were the Troop’s 153rd and 154th Eagle Scouts. He is the son of Rollie and Lori Ford.

Williamson County Clerk’s Office receives state recognition

The Williamson County Clerk received a certificate for excellence in the “vital statistics process.” The office received a rating of five-stars from the Texas Department of State Health Services Vital Statistics Section and was recognized in commissioners court Tuesday for its efforts.

Crosspoint Church, others invite community to Easter festivities
