Why did you choose to run for commissioner? Williamson County is important to me, it is where I grew up, started my family, made friends and make my livelihood. I think it’s the best place on the planet and I want it to stay that way.

Why are you running for office? I am running for office because I have a proven track record of pushing the clerk’s office into the 21st century, keeping it functioning the most efficient way possible and providing customers with the best possible customer service while staying within budget.

Early voting begins Monday for November midterm election

Early voting for the November general election begins Monday, October 24, and runs through Friday, November 4, at select polling locations across Williamson County.

Why did you choose to run for commissioner this year? As a servant leader, I’ve been helping others my entire life and county commissioner is a logical next step. Williamson County is growing without giving adequate consideration to issues that directly affect our quality of life.

Why did you choose to run for commissioner? We need an active advocate for those that live and work in Precinct 4. I will fight for our fair share of county funding to improve our roads, failing infrastructure and public health system.

Why did you choose to run for county judge? I want to keep Williamson County as the best place to live, work and raise a family. I will provide law enforcement with the resources and training they need to keep Williamson County families safe. I will oppose any radical efforts to defund the police.

Why are you running for office? I am a current county employee for over five years and a lifelong county resident from Jarrell, where I reside with my husband and son. I also graduated from Southwestern University on an academic scholarship and enjoy public service.

SWAT team helps GPD with disturbance

Georgetown Police Department responded earlyWednesdaymorningto a call about a domestic disturbance at a North Austin Avenue apartment. According to a statement by police, a male suspect held a female “against her will with a firearm” and assaulted her.

Williamson County completes 200th bond project

Williamson County celebrated its 200th completed road bond project with a ribbon cutting earlier this week on County Road 201 in Liberty Hill. Work on the voter-approved road bond project took place on CR 200 from the Capital Metro Railroad to Country Road 201.

Grooming salon opens inside Wag Heaven

Wag Heaven Pet Supplies and Self-Serve Dog Wash has partnered with an independently- owned pet grooming salon to open a space inside their store. The Ruff Lounge is now available for patrons of the store at 205 West Sixth Street, just off the Square.
