Why are you running for office? The decision to seek the Justice of the Peace office was made with much prayer and consideration for everyone involved. Specifically, I thought about those who put their trust in the person who handles some of the most sensitive circumstances in their life.

After redistricting we found ourselves in Precinct 1, and soon thereafter learned of the underperforming record of the current Precinct 1 Justice Court. When I mentioned this to some of my friends and acquaintances, their response was 'What are you going to do about it?

I am committed to giving taxpayers a better value for their tax dollar. The JP4 court is not performing efficiently. In 2021, JP4 heard approximately 3,100 cases to JP3’s over 16,000. Relationships with partner agencies and citizens are suffering as a result.

Poll workers provide assistance during early voting, election day
