A portion of the Crockett Gardens waterfall rock formation — a popular destination for trail walkers alongside Lake Georgetown, west of Cedar Breaks Park — separated and fell to the ground late last week.

According to Scott Blank, the lake manager at Lake Georgetown, the Army Corps of Engineers, the organization overseeing the lake, was made aware of the incident on Saturday.
