A Cashier’s Check, Certified Check, or Bid Bond payable to “Lennar Homes of Texas Land & Construction, Ltd.” in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total bid must accompany the bid proposals as a guarantee that, if awarded the contract, the bidder will within ten (10) days of the award of the contract, enter into a contract and furnish an acceptable Performance and Payment Bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price.
