Georgetown animal shelter will join county shelter

    The 2023 bond approved expansion of the Georgetown Animal Shelter will see the shelter absorbed into the Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter. 

    Jack Daly, assistant public works director for the city, presented a plan during the Tuesday, March 12, Georgetown City Council that demonstrated where the city and county stand in the process of combining the two animal shelters.
