Charlsie Ann Russell Moore

Charlsie Ann Russell Moore, 86, of Georgetown, Texas, passed away May 25, 2024 in Round Rock, Texas, with her family by her side.

Charlsie was born June 20, 1937 in Georgetown, Texas, to Charles Thomas Russell, Jr. and Mary Jane Birch Russell. She grew up in Georgetown with four brothers.

Charlsie married Harold David Moore on November 6, 1957 in Georgetown, Texas. They became the proud parents of Cheryl Ann, Vickie Jane and Danny David. She was also a proud Me-maw to granddaughters Brandi, Britni and Abigail; great-granddaughters Jessica and Kayla; and great-grandson Colson.

As her children were growing up, she was involved in their school and sports activities. Charlsie coached her daughters in softball and worked many concession stands for Little League while watching Danny play baseball.

Family and friends were her whole world. You could find Me-maw sitting in the audience of a school program or in the stands of a sporting event watching and cheering on her grandkids. She loved gatherings with her brothers and their families. At these get togethers, you knew she would bring her corn casserole and banana pudding. If you stopped by the house, coffee and sweet tea were always ready for you.

Surviving Charlsie are her children, Cheryl Moore (Steve Howell), Vickie Nunn and Danny Moore (Janet); her granddaughters, Britni Weaver (Cameron) and Abigail Moore (David Insall); and her great-grandchildren, Jessica Alff, Kayla Weaver and Colson Insall. She is also survived by brothers Jack Russell and Mark Russell (Janis), sister-in-law Marsha Russell; nieces, nephews and Sarah Rogers, a loved member of our family.

Her husband of 54 years Harold David Moore; parents; brothers, Charles Russell and Jimmy Russell; sister-in-laws, Bonnie Russell and Brenda Russell; granddaughter Brandi Nunn, and son-in-law Ronny Nunn preceded her in death.

Pallbearers will be Kyle Beam, Mack Russell, Justin Russell, Wesley Russell, Chris Rogers, Cameron Weaver, David Insall and Charlie Russell.
