Doris Ford

Dearest Mom, Grandma, Gi-Gi (AKA Doris Ford)

We write this remembrance to honor you since you peacefully entered Heaven on April 22, 2024.  Your virtuous life of 97 years was remarkable as your priorities of faith, family and friends provided guidance and solace.

You were a devoted, loving wife to Roy for 61 years.  During your married life you moved to several states, raised and positively influenced two daughters, proudly enjoyed being a grandma and great-grandma; and met many treasured life-long friends.

Full-time secretarial positions were second nature to your 24/7 family life. You received your realtor license and together with Dad began your real estate company.  During those 18 years, you were recognized numerous times by the city’s realtor board for outstanding performance. Retirement was well deserved, and full of adventure.

We welcomed you to Texas in 2010. You attended many holiday and family gatherings, car trips, Disney cruises and annual Grandparent’s Days at the great-grandchildren’s school, became a member of the Worship Place and actively volunteered in the Friends program.

Our fond memories include your hobbies of baking, crocheting, writing letters and sending cards.  We treasure your legacy for always being ready to share your crafts, speak a kind word or tell a joke or two!

You are dearly cherished and loved; and you will remain in our hearts forever.

Cindy, Yvonne, Bill, Jodi, Lee, Evan and Kaliana
