They grew their family with the addition of son, Monty in 1961, followed by daughter Diane in 1962.
Bobbi and Homer along with their kids moved many times for his jobs in the Air Force and Railroad. They lived in New Jersey, Colorado, Montana, Arizona, even Canada for a bit before settling in Georgetown, Texas, in the 1970s. Through all their travels Bobbi always had her hair done, something bright and colorful to wear, and a fluffy poodle dog by her side.
Bobbi enjoyed watching her children compete in their various passions during school and helping Homer lay asphalt for his construction company around Georgetown. In the ’90s Bobbi and Homer purchased a Conoco gas station named B&H Quick Stop, near the then new construction site of Sun City, followed by the Andice General Store. Bobbi and the store became local legends for the delicious burger and french fry lunches she served. Most days you could find a line of customers waiting for a delicious lunch at either store.
Bobbi loved collecting antiques and flowers and enjoyed making ceramics. She was always decorating her home with colorful floral arrangements and pretty quilts. She was an animal lover, and would take in any animal who needed a home from dogs and cats to a baby deer and even an opossum. Most of all she loved her children and grandchildren fiercely and believed in them unconditionally. She loved to have her family over for dinner and made her iconic cornbread, fried potatoes and crispy thin pork chops with the sweetest sweet tea in the state.
