Sidney W. Frost
Sidney W. Frost, age 87, passed away peacefully at Truewood Memory Center in Georgetown, Texas, where he had been admitted through a hospice program.
Born on December 6, 1936, he was known to family and friends as a gentle, loving and kind man. His love of music and travel led to many experiences in his life. He shared his tenor voice with Austin Lyric Opera, Chorus Austin, First Presbyterian Church choirs, Georgetown and San Gabriel Chorale. Sid traveled across the United States and internationally to China, Great Britain, Austria and France.
Sid was preceded in death by his parents, Sidney Harry Frost and Eva Lee Williams Frost, and his wives Gale Frost and Lois Frost.
He is survived by his loving family, including his wife, Celeste Frost; his daughter, Eva Frost; his son, David Frost and his wife Wendy; and his daughter, Julie Golden and her husband Rick; five grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
A service of memory and celebration of Sid’s life will be held Saturday, August 24, 2024 at 11 a.m. at First Presbyterian Church, 703 South Church Street, Georgetown, Texas 78626.
