    A crowd filled Founders Park as Ken Covington performed during a First Friday Concert held on Friday, October 4, 2024.  Covington, founder of Ken'z Guitars on the Square in Georgetown,  suffered a stroke in September 2023.  He's been on the mend for the past year, but did sell the store, which reopened this summer as Six Strings.  He was honored with a proclamation presented by Georgetown Mayor Josh Schroeder.
