Thanksgiving is less than two weeks away. While some bakeries in the area — like Lulu’s Pie Shoppe on the Square — are already booked full for the holiday, there’s still some time to place a last-minute order for a traditional pie for your family’s dinner table. Here are some options in the Georgetown area that are still accepting orders while supplies last. This list is not comprehensive
Laurie’s Cafe

Laurie’s Cafe is known for its buttermilk chess pie and coconut cream pie. They make pies special to order for Thanksgiving, including pumpkin, apple, pecan and their usual offerings. Laurie’s Cafe asks customers to call and put in their order as soon as possible during the holiday season to give staff enough time to prepare.
Galaxy Bakery & CoffeeHouse

Galaxy Bakery & CoffeeHouse is known for its cupcakes, but did you know they offer pies too? The bakery display case usually features miniature pies, but during the holidays, the bakery also has full sized pies available to order. For the fall, the bakery adds pumpkin and apple to their usual offerings. Ahead of Thanksgiving, Galaxy Bakery asks customers to call and place their order as quickly as possible, preferably in the next week.
Monument Cafe

The Monument Cafe in Georgetown serves house-made pies and cakes throughout the year. It’s specialty is the Monument Chocolate Pie, but other options include Coconut Cream, Cherry, Pecan, Strawberry Cream Cheese, Pumpkin and Pumpkin Chiffon. Typically, the restaurant requires at least two days' notice for pick up orders, but call ahead for availability.
Love At First Bite

Love At First Bite is a restaurant and bakery in Jarrell that offers a full Thanksgiving dinner order. They also sell pies available for pickup. There are 37 different pie flavors to choose from, including flavors like German Chocolate Pecan, Mint Chocolate and Chocolate Kaluha. New additions to the menu include Coconut Meringue and the Eclair Pie. Love At First Bite requires orders to be in by November 18 at 7 p.m. To place an order, call the store.
Pie Jacked

Pie Jacked, located in Round Rock, offers allergen-free vegan apple, cherry, pumpkin, blueberry, chocolate and peach pie. Their desserts are free of the top nine allergens — including gluten, eggs, milk, nuts and eggs. Pies are offered in three different sizes, including family size, sweetie size and cutie size.
