Georgetown serves up community on Thanksgiving

    Georgetown's Community Thanksgiving was held Thursday, November 28, 2024, at the San Gabriel Community Center in San Gabriel Park.  About 200 pounds of turkey breast, combined with numerous side dishes, drinks and desserts were provided at no charge to anyone who wanted a Thanksgiving meal.  The event was conducted by members of the Georgetown Beard Club, plus the City of Georgetown police and fire departments.
