Michael Wayne Wiseman was born August 17, 1947, in Monterey, California to William Redford Wiseman and Gladys Helen Andrews, and unexpectedly passed away in his home in Georgetown, Texas, on January 4, 2025. He is survived by older brother Ron and younger brother Bill, and his wife Melissa (Springer) Wiseman, daughters Monica Wiseman Latin (Richard) and Marla Wiseman Hand (Justin), and granddaughters Brenna and Rachel Hand, and beloved dog Poppy.
Mike was in the first graduating class of Eastwood High School in El Paso, and obtained a BS in mathematics, and later an MS in industrial engineering from UTEP. He served as an officer in the U.S. Navy, spent 23 years with El Paso Natural Gas Company, and 23 years with Rimkus Consulting Group in Houston, Texas, retiring as a senior vice president.
Mike was larger than life, known for his remarkable intelligence, quick wit and fierce loyalty to family and friends.
A celebration of life will be held at 2pm on Saturday, January 25, 2025 in the Chapel of Ramsey Funeral Home, Georgetown, Texas.
