Cleta Faye Keith

Cleta Faye Keith passed away on Friday, March 7th, 2025, in Lubbock, Texas, with her beloved family by her side.

Cleta was born on August 29th, 1944, in Muleshoe, Texas, to Major and Lynnie Love.

She is survived by her son Marshall, daughter Saundra, five grandchildren Donny, Amber, Breanna, Candice, and Larissa, sister Diann, brothers Mike and Leland, and longtime friend Suzanne Barton.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Major and Lynnie Love; sister, Delma; and brother, Sid.

Cleta graduated from Morton High as well as South Plains Jr. College, excelling in all her courses.

Her career at American Airlines spanned over 40 years. She was awarded the American Silver Wings Award while serving out of New York City.

She married Dale Keith on August 13, 1977. Cleta and Dale owned a successful corporate travel company, “Alpha Omega,” in Irvine, California, for 30 years. When it was time to retire, they sold the business and moved back home to Texas.

Cleta had many passions, including cooking, entertaining guests, taking cruises, traveling in their motor home with Dale, and, as many of you know, her favorite passion, golfing.

A visitation with family will be held from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, March 11, 2025, at Lake Ridge Chapel & Memorial Designers, and a Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, March 12, 2025, at 10 a.m. at Lake Ridge Chapel & Memorial Designers. Please visit
