Tom and Sharron Aishman

An excerpt from “Togetherness” by Henry Scott Holland

Death is nothing at all. I have only slipped away into the next room. All is well. Nothing is past; nothing is lost. One brief moment and all will be as it was before – only better, infinitely happier and forever – we will all be one together in Christ.

Tom Aishman, age 83, and Sharron Aishman, age 83, of Sun City, Texas, went together to be with the Lord on March 18, 2025. They leave behind son Clint, daughter-in-law Rani and two grandsons, Bodie and Cooper.

Tom was born in Ranger, Texas, where he grew up and graduated from Andrews High School before attending Hardin-Simmons University, where he earned a bachelors in sociology. Later, he attended Sam Houston State and earned a masters in education.

Sharron was born in Odessa, Texas, and graduated from Permian High School before attending Hardin-Simmons University, where she earned a bachelors in education.

They met while in college and were married on June 1, 1963. They spent the next 61 years together. They not only shaped the lives of countless children while teaching for 25+ years, they raised a loving son, Clint, together.

Each had their own hobbies, but they always loved being together. After retiring from teaching, they spent their time traveling and visiting friends. They always made sure they were close to their son and his family.

A funeral service will be held on March 28, 2025, at 10 a.m. at Edwards Funeral Home in Ranger, Texas. A family interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery, where Tom and Sharron will be resting next to Tom’s parents, Weaver and Genova Aishman.

Please send flowers to Edwards Funeral Home in Ranger, Texas.
