Nonprofit Georgetown Free Bikes opens new space

After donating over a thousand bikes to the community, nonprofit Georgetown Free Bikes has moved out of its founder’s garage. They're now at the former Rabbit Hill School located at 2055 Farm to Market Road 1460.

“What started as a simple idea in a garage has blossomed into a community movement,” said Jeff Radke, founder of Georgetown Free Bikes. “This expansion represents the incredible support we've received and will allow us to help even more residents experience the freedom and joy of cycling.”

A grand opening of the Georgetown Free Bikes facility took place for April 5. Visit www.georgetownfreebikes.org for more information.
