20th Annual Bluegrass Festival
Leander’s 20th annual Bluegrass and Folk Festival will come back to the Mason Homestead, located at 1101 South Bagdad Road, for free live music from artists like Steel Grassy and Deer Fellow on Friday night, with Randy Collier & Grassland, Luke Bulla and Tiger Alley on Saturday night. Round Rock Arts Fest

First Friday Music on the Square
The Downtown Georgetown Association and Georgetown Beard Club host music on the Square the first Friday of the month from March through November. First Friday Ghost Tours

Clayman Rodeo
The Clayman Rodeo at Windsong Farm Arena showcases local horseback riding students of all ages. Riders compete for prizes in barrel racing, pole bending, team roping and breakaway roping. PinkStrong Ride
Cyclists will rally together for a ride to honor those affected by breast cancer. GPL World Cinema horror movie series
The month of October, the library’s World Cinema program will feature three different horror movies. Downtown Historic Walking Tours
Sponsored by the Williamson Museum and the city’s Downtown and Tourism Department, these tours will highlight the historical features in downtown over the course of about 45 minutes. San Gabriel Presbyterian Church Pumpkin Patch

This year’s Walk to End Alzheimer’s for Williamson County will take place on Saturday, October 18, starting at Southwestern University. ThunderCloud Sub’s 35th Annual Turkey Trot
Kick off Thanksgiving with ThunderCloud’s annual Turkey Trot. Potential runners can either walk the 1-mile, run the 5-mile course at the Long Center in Austin or participate virtually. ROCK’s Cowgirl Brunch
Pet horses, listen to heroes and find healing at Ride On Center for Kids fourth annual Cowgirl Brunch. Located in the Merlin Hoppe Arena, on 2050 Rockride Lane in Georgetown, the event is hosted for the local women’s business community and will feature brunch, mimosas, bloody mary’s, raffles, a keynote speech, and a special table decorating competition. Attendees will have the opportunity to decorate their tables prior to the start of the event, where three winners will be selected by a panel of judges. The Georgetown Soiree
Three Georgetown nonprofits — The Georgetown Project, Boy and Girls Club of Georgetown and the Georgetown Family YMCA — will join forces once again to present the ninth annual Soiree: A Coming Together for Kids, at the Georgetown Airport’s Cutter Aviation Hangar, 160 South Terminal Drive.
