Michael Joseph Bogan

Michael Joseph Bogan

Our dearly loved husband, father, and grandfather, Michael Joseph Bogan, passed away peacefully on December 8, 2025, in Pflugerville, Texas.

Mike was born on March 22, 1929, in Grand Forks, North Dakota, to James Patrick Bogan and Mary Cecelia (Treacy) Bogan. He was the cherished youngest of fourteen siblings, growing up surrounded by family, faith, and strong values that shaped the man he became.

A loving and patient soul, Mike was devoted to his family and known by all as a man of unwavering honesty and integrity. He found joy in sports of every kind—especially golf, bowling, basketball, and soccer—and spent many years enthusiastically running the sidelines as a soccer referee, a role he truly loved.

Mike shared a beautiful life of adventure with his wife. Together they traveled the world, visiting all fifty states and creating countless memories along the way. A true gourmand, Mike delighted in fine food and wines and enjoyed the camaraderie of many gourmet dinner groups.

Professionally, Mike dedicated thirty-eight years to Hercules Inc., where he built a respected career and concluded his service as Regional Manager for the Western Region.

In October 1967, Mike married the love of his life, Beryl Holding, in San Francisco. They welcomed four beautiful children in quick succession: Scott, Sean, Stuart, and Stephany.

Mike is survived by his wife, Beryl; his children Sean (Sara), Stuart (Terri), and Stephany; and his eight cherished grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his thirteen siblings, and his beloved eldest son, Scott (Cathy).
